VivaCity, a company dedicated to enhancing cities for better living and working, has appointed Anna Keren as its new Chief Technology Officer.
Keren is joining VivaCity from Thirdfort, where she served as Chief Technology and Product Officer. Her extensive background includes roles as VP of Technology at ComplyAdvantage and Director of Engineering at Babylon Health.
Yang Lu, VivaCity’s Co-Founder and former CTO, is transitioning to the role of Technical Founder. He will concentrate on technology development, applying his profound expertise to tackle some of the industry’s most challenging issues.
Mark Nicholson, CEO and Co-Founder at VivaCity, said: “Anna brings a wealth of experience from key tech sectors, and will be essential in the continued advancement of VivaCity’s products. With our ongoing international expansion and the evolution of our Smart Road Safety technology, she will be an integral part of the company’s innovation in the coming years. We’d also like to thank Yang for his invaluable contribution and dedication since we founded VivaCity together with Peter Mildon back in 2015.”

The beginning of 2024 has marked some other significant milestones for the VivaCity team, with CEO Mark Nicholson being shortlisted for a WCIT Enterprise Award, and the company attending multiple events in the UK, Ireland and the US, including TRA Dublin 2024 and ITS America.
